Seven Sons was established in 2000 by parents Lee & Beth Hitzfield. Today the farm supports a multi-generational team of family and dedicated staff. Their mission is simple; to produce nutrient-dense foods that heal and nourish our land and those who eat of its bounty.
They believe the very best food comes from animals raised outdoors on pasture without feeding GMO grains or antibiotics. As the season allow, our hens are rotated to fresh, green pastures daily.
They are committed to practicing biomimicry by allowing our animals to follow the grazing cycles of their cattle. This means that during a single growing season, a hen on the farm can range up to a million square feet of fresh pasture, benefiting from the natural habitat created by the heard.
