Cypress Grove Chevre is one of America's best known artisan goat cheese companies. Starting in the 1970s with just a couple of goats for a healthier milk source for her family, Mary Keehn soon began breeding her goats and increased the herd significantly. Finding herself with an excess of goat milk, Mary soon began experimenting with cheese making. Cypress Grove Chevre was officially launched in 1983. Mary strove to make the highest quality and best-tasting artisanal cheese. Mary's patience and hard work paid off as Cypress Grove Chevre began to grow. The company has continued to grow and win numerous awards.
