Founded in 1942 by Ottorino Ambrosi with the guiding family principle to produce, select and purvey the finest Italian cheeses. Ambrosi supports the small producers and their production of unique, small batch cheeses. The goal is to support these producers and their traditions to keep them alive for future generations and to share their creations with the rest of the world. With the creation of Ambrosi Food USA in 2006, American distributors and customers now have access to a wide assortment of Italian cheeses with Ambrosi.
