This is a small farm raised oyster from Rhode Island.  Very sweet with firm pink meat.  It is one of the most flavorful oysters on the market.  Rated as one of New England’s finest oysters by Bon Appetite Magazine.  They have a pink or purple shell that is flatter, almost like a scallop shell.  They look fanlike.
