Rich Deferia joined Fortune to serve as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing 25+ years of restaurant industry and distribution experience to the team. After completing a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame, Rich went on to graduate from the French Culinary Institute of New York City, and build a career as a chef in New York, Las Vegas, and other cities.
Rich’s career as a chef led him into food distribution, where his focus has been in sales and sales leadership. He has a long history leading large sales organizations thought the Midwest, and brings invaluable experience of leadership, professional development, and culinary arts to Fortune’s team.
Rich lives in the Chicago area with his wife, Danielle, and three of their four boys Dante, Dominic, and Declan. Their fourth son, Matthew, resides in Michigan with his wife Sophie and son Oliver.
