The Bekkums, Al and Sarah, use both goat and cow’s milk to create their artisan butters and cheeses. Based in the heavily Norwegian area of Westby, WI, the “Nordic” name is a nod to the region’s ancestry, as well as their own. The farm is located within Vernon County’s lush, green hills and valleys known as the Coulee Region. This unglaciated land is recognized for its fertile soil and exceptional grazing land making their cheese and butter second to none.
